Medical Secretaries
In order to work as a medical secretary you must have completed a
- Medical secretary program
- Have good keyboarding and computer skills
- Have good communication skills
- Have good organisation skills
You must be able to type 60 wpm and have a basic understanding of medical terminology.
Phlebotomists
Provided you have a medical background you can work as a phlebotomist. All phlebotomists must
- Have a Certificate of Competence
- Be vaccinated against Hepatitis B
- Enhanced CRB Check
